Halloween costumes for couples?

I've decided I want to be a belly dancer / harem girl, because I clothing. It is light colored beige and gold with some brown accents. The problem is finding a good suit to go with my boyfriend. We wanted to be sorta like a suit for type and all I can find dresses like the Bible. Other ideas? or ideas on how to make a biblical costume dress seem less Biblical Shiek?
